Sacred Sisterhood Retreat
Taghazout Morocco May 17th-24th 2025

As women we are constantly in service to others, caring for our family, friends and work. This retreat is about caring for yourself, nourishing yourself, and going deep into the bonds of sacred sisterhood. Just outside of the quiet seaside town of Taghazhout Morocco, 14 women will gather for a journey of rejuvenaton, connection and wanderlust.

The Strength in Sisterhood

One of the most powerful parts of every retreat is the connections that take place. When people come together to share their stories and vulnerabilities we are able to draw strength and support from one another to make powerful change in our lives. This is especially true when women come together and that is exactly what this retreat is about. We may arrive as 14 strangers but we will leave with unshakable new bonds.

7 nights stay at a beautiful villa outside of the town of Taghazout, Morocco

Our Retreat Space

Villa Surya is hidden away on the edge of a nature reserve in Imi Ouaddar on the Atlantic coast. The property consists of two connected villas. Our focus is yoga, meditation and the well-being of our guests.

The villas are surrounded by the Antiatlas mountains, argan trees and cacti and is only a 4-minute walk from the famous Paradise Plage beach.

YOGIC DIET

All our meals are inspired by the mediterranean and yogic kitchen and are daily prepared fresh in our villa to make you feel great from the inside out. Live a healthier and more vibrant life with our clean eating recipes and recharge.

It is an eating philosophy based on a wholesome vegetarian diet. Using the elements of healthy eating, vegetarian ingredients, combining spices and herbs that have therapeutic value and delicious flavours create the perfect diet for a consistent yogic practice.

Yoga believes that food not only influences your body in the physical sense but is also known to directly influence emotions and feelings.

Rooms

All rooms are decorated in a modern bohemian Morocco style. You sleep in handmade wooden beds with ergonomic mattresses and Egyptian cotton sheets.

All rooms feature:

• air conditioning for heating and cooling

• cabinets or hanging shelves to store clothes

• large shower and beach towels

• bed linen & day bed cover

• cosy bathrobe

• European sockets

• free WIFI (best reception in the living room area)

Payment:

$500 euro NON REFUNDABLE deposit holds your spot.

Payment can be made via e-transfer, wise app, bank transfer, online with credit/debit card via square invoice. Please contact me directly for payment instructions. If paying in CAD exchange rate will be the rate on the day payment is being sent.

-The remaining balance is due 100 days prior to the retreat start date. The remaining balance is non-refundable but it is transferrable to another individual.

Frequently Asked Questions

ARE FLIGHTS INCLUDED?: You are responsible for booking your own flights.

WHAT AIRPORT SHOULD I FLY INTO? The nearest airport is Agadir Al Massira airport approx 1 hour drive from the retreat centre. Alternatively you can also fly into Marrakech Manera Airport and take a 3.5 hour drive to the retreat centre.

HOW WILL I GET FROM THE AIRPORT TO THE RETREAT CENTRE? We can help arrange transportation from the airport to the retreat centre.

WHAT IF I HAVE ALLERGIES OR DIETARY RESTRICTIONS: Our chef can accommodate most allergies or dietary restrictions but please let us know when sending your deposit what these restrictions are.

WHAT TYPE OF CURRENCY SHOULD I BRING?: The currency in Morocco is Dirham, it is recommended you bring that or euros. You can also use an ATM upon arrival to take out cash.

WHAT TIME WILL THE RETREAT START AND WHEN WILL IT END? Check in is on May 17th anytime after 2pm Checkout is on May 24th after breakfast at 11am.

WHAT IF I ARRIVE EARLY OR FLY OUT LATE? We can help you make arrangements.

IS ALCOHOL INCLUDED? Alcohol is not permitted at the retreat centre.

WHAT SHOULD I PACK? A packing list will be sent out 1-2 months prior to your retreat.

WHAT IF I CHANGE MY MIND AND CAN'T COME? Your deposit is 100% non-refundable. The final payment is due 100 days prior to the retreat start date. Once paid this payment is also non-refundable but your spot IS transferrable (meaning if there is someone on the wait-list they can pay you directly for your spot or if a friend/family member wants your spot).
